30 Hour Famine

On March 6th and 7th students at New Covenant Church starved for 30 hours to save lives around the world. It was a long and rigorous weekend, however it gave us a better appreciation of our easy access to food. We now have a better understanding of what it feels like to be desperately hungry. Here are a few pictures of our adventurous weekend...

14,000 kids die each day from hunger

We slept outside in cardboard boxes

Matt,
You did such a great job with the youth on all of this! I don't think that the teens will ever forget this weekend. :-)

Wow Matt! This is great! I am so glad you are doing things like this with the youth and that they are seeing what it is really like for so many people in the world.

This must have been a rough weekend but I am sure they will never forget it.

Praying for you.
